Live Events at St Giles'
BaptismsBaptisms at St Giles usually take place on the 3rd Sunday of the month, during the 10.30am service.
Just as children learn language simply by being surrounded by it and by trying it out, we baptise children of Christian parents in the expectation that they will naturally learn from them what 'living in Christ' means. We hold a baptism preparation evening where those who are considering baptism for their children meet together with a member of the clergy and discuss the meaning of baptism and the responsibilities it entails. These are relaxed events, and are really about giving you a chance to ask questions and get to know us, and the ways in which we can support you in raising your child in the Christian faith. If you would like to know more please email the church office. |
