Children at St Giles

Nurturing the children and young people that God has blessed us with is a high priority for us. On Sunday mornings during the 10.30 service, we run activities for all our under 18s,  except for the first Sunday of the month which is an 'All Age' service with everyone together in church.
Generally, all children start in church with their families and then after the first worship songs they leave with their leaders for their own activities. The groups are arranged according to age, and all meet in the modern church hall rooms - they have a lot of fun and anyone is welcome to join in.

All those who work with children are fully DBS checked.

Junior Church

This is our group for primary school age children. ​The children learn worship songs to share with the wider church, they engage with the Scripture in creative and sensory ways and have time to pray and listen to God.

Sunbeams

This is our preschooler group (2, 3 & 4 year olds), which takes place during the 10.30 Sunday service. The emphasis for our Sunbeams is on having fun together. This group enjoys singing, crafts, Bible stories and, of course, playing with lots of toys!
