Junior Church Online – Sundays at 11am

Ellen will be leading a Junior Church session for us online each week at 11am. This is for any Junior church aged kids, Sunbeams can join in too. Zoom is proving to be a great platform for our small groups and church meetings, and so if you would like your kids to be part of the fun just email Ellen for an invite – families@stgilesparish.com

St Giles Youth

We are continuing with Impact on Tuesday nights at 8pm with Lee hosting a Zoom meeting and Sally Proudlove will be hosting a Friday night slot at 8pm, invitations will be sent out via Whatsapp but if we've missed anyone do get in touch with Lee and he will invite you in.

Volunteering and practical support

Thank you to everyone who responded to the call for volunteers, we now have a group of about 20 who are responding to requests for help with shopping and other practicalities. Claire is co-ordinating these and there is a steady stream of requests for help. If you would like to join the team just get in touch with Claire, and similarly if you need some help don't hesitate to get in touch.

Pastoral Care at St Giles

Many thanks to Daphne Carter and Doreen Ottway. They are doing a sterling job co-ordinating some of our 'Seniors committee' and others telephoning church members who are older or might be vulnerable at this time. It is just a way for us to keep in touch and look out for one another.

St Giles hour of prayer

We are designating Fridays 11am – 12pm as an hour of prayer for St Giles. This is a time to stop if we can and pray for St Giles, our friends and families, our community and wider in the midst of everything that is going on.
