8am Church open for quiet prayer
St Giles is open from 8am until 8.20am for quiet prayer on Sunday mornings.
There is no liturgy or music, but the opportunity to join with others in the Lady Chapel to pray together, or just to find a place to be still before God.

9am service of Holy Communion with Robed Choir
A traditional setting of the Communion service. St Giles' choir lead us in our worship together following the liturgy of the Church of England's Common Worship. Congregational singing is accompanied by the organ, and the focus of the service is 'the meal that Jesus left us' - sharing bread and wine, the body and blood of Christ.
10am til 10.30am - Coffee and time together as a church family
Between the morning services we have our coffee time. Fresh coffee, teas, squashes and doughnuts. People matter at St Giles and so we invest in this time together. A chance for members of each morning congregation to get to know one another.
10.30am Informal Worship
Contemporary worship in a relaxed informal style. Children and young people stay in for the first part of the service before leaving for their own groups. The worship continues led by one of our worship bands. Sermons have a teaching focus on applying the Bible to daily life. Normally we follow a sermon series of mark significant points of the church year. There is regularly communion and prayer ministry offered at these services.
1st Sunday of the Month - All Age Service
Our aim is that all of our 10.30am services are child friendly, but especially so the All Age services when children stay in church with us for the whole service. Songs are led by a worship band and singers, and we often have drama or a craft activity as part of the worship. The talks are topical and punchy, and a lot of fun!
