What's on in early 2023.....

Alpha course - we have a new course beginning at St Giles on Friday mornings, 9.30-11.15am, starting this January. Alpha is a great way to find out more about the Christian faith. Each week we will have breakfast together and then watch a video before having a discussion. Alpha is an opportunity to ask questions, to listen to others and to share your own perspective in a friendly and open environment. There is no obligation to say anything and there is nothing you can't say!  To watch a preview talk you can click here. If you would like to find out more or reserve a place, please email the church office. If you are a parent with a pre school age child our Children & Families Worker will be in the sessions to look after little ones when needed.

Warm Space - there will be a warm welcome, hot drinks and hot soup in the St Giles' church hall on Wednesdays 12.30-2.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Lent Course - this is an easy to follow, 5 week introduction to some of the Gospel stories, that will meet in church on Thursday evenings from 9th March.
Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale - on Thursday 2nd February at 7pm the Nottingham Shakespeare Company brings you a story of kings and queens, princes and rogues, shepherds, prophecies.... and a bear.
The company's productions are stripped back in style, with minimal staging and costume, performing within and around the audience, bringing the space alive and closing the gap between the player and the audience. Tell you friends and come along for an immersive, atmospheric experience!  For tickets click here. As well as full price tickets the company also makes a good number of 'pay what you can' seats available for its performances.
